SAMMY-T can be used in the lab to understand and mimic real world use cases for the SAMMY system. These include

  • Evaluating semiconductor devices to determine their suitability for quantum magnetometry. Commercial use case: nondestructive testing of semiconductor chips during manufacture

  • Manipulating voltage, frequency, magnetic fields to see the effects of stress. Commercial use case: evaluating control electronics under high temperature or in nuclear reactors to detect flaws before they become fatal.

  • Choose any off-the-shelf semiconductor device and discover its quantum properties

  • Ability to explore the effect of temperature on the system

  • No optical breadboard or table, bespoke tools, expensive materials, or laser safety controls
